MONTREAT, N.C. — The Montreat College clay target shooting team recently revealed the fall half of its 2026-27 competition schedule. Testing themselves all over the region this autumn, the Cavaliers will compete in events across five states during the 2026 portion of the campaign.
The Cavs begin the season with a pair of events over the first two months of the slate, starting on Aug. 29 with a dual at Emmanuel University in Franklin Springs, Ga. Following nearly a month-long break, Montreat returns to action on Sept. 25-26 for the Clemson Palmetto Invitational in Edgefield, S.C., marking its only event in September.
October's action begins on the 10th at the Dixie Grand in Bostic, N.C. The Cavaliers then conclude the month's schedule at the Unaka Rod & Gun Club Trophy Shoot on Oct. 24 in Johnson City, Tenn.
Montreat closes its fall campaign at the ACUI Fall Lower East Coast Conference Championships in Jacksonville, Fla. The three-day championship is set for Nov. 6-8.
