WALESKA, Ga.— Four Montreat College women's golfers captured Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) All-Academic Team status, that according to a release from the league office Friday evening.
 
Reese Coltrane, Abbey Coyle, Sara Rothrock and Hannah Stewart met the qualifications to garner the annual academic recognition. Stewart also grabbed a spot on the AAC Champions of Character Team.
 
To qualify for the AAC All-Academic Team, a student-athlete must hold at least sophomore academic status and maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.25 or higher. Each institution in the league also received one spot on the AAC Champions of Character Team, and the honorees were chosen by each program's head coach.

The Montreat women's golf team wrapped up its 2024-25 schedule earlier this week with the AAC Direct Qualifier. As a squad, the Cavaliers placed eighth overall.
